AKA: “The Last Resort,” “The White Collar Assassin”
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5’10″, 210 lbs
HOMETOWN: Brooklyn, New York
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Path” by Apocalyptica
STYLE: Shooter
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: Stiff headbutts (I-Block-Your-Punch-You-Don’t-Block-My-Headbutt), The Garotte (step over toehold w/ inverted cravate facelock), Curb Stomp (Super Dragon holding arms style), DDT, Sliding D (opponent seated, Ravager hits the ropes and comes off with a sliding STIFF forearm to the mush), top-rope Diving Headbutt, Kata-Hajime (AKA Tazz-Mission)
FINISHER: Last Resort (Dragon Suplex) / Instant Karma (Super Brainbuster – dropping opponent’s head on top turnbuckle, El Generico style)
BIO: A silent assassin, Ravager lets his actions speak for themselves. He is a gun for hire, and he only accepts top dollar, no matter who offers.
Ravager has played many roles in NAPW. For the first year, he existed as the antithesis of fan-favorite D!, himself swinging from a fan-favorite to hated wrestler. Their feud ended when D! went mad and left NAPW. Ravager would go on to defeat The Plague in a heated war, and then to the surprise of many, win the NAPW title from Evan Cartwright in January 2007.
THEN.
He kept it for ten straight title defenses and over six months, a record NOBODY has come close to touching and likely never will. Ravager established himself as the ACE of NAPW in that time. In fall 2007, he engaged in a bitter war with Jake Phoenix, culminating in a “Loser Leaves NAPW” match at Black Thursday III. To the shock of NAPW fans and certainly himself, Ravager was beaten and forced to retire from the promotion he helped build.
Through an open contract, Ravager has found his way back in… and now that he is allied with KRENSHOV, there will be hell to pay.
APPEARANCE: Pale white, with jet black hair. He dresses in expensive suits outside the ring, but for his matches he wears conservative black trunks.
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 2007 King of Hardcore, 2008 & 2009 REBEL Aerial Assault tournament winner, NAPW Champions (2x), Provincial/Heritage Champion (3x), Tag Team Champion
AKA: “The Future”
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5’11″, 220 lbs
HOMETOWN: Las Vegas, Nevada
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Smooth” – Rob Thomas & Carlos Santana
STYLE: High Flyer, Technical
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: Flying Top-Rope Elbow Drop, Brainbuster Suplex, Standing Dropkick, Frog Splash, Double Underhook Backbreaker, Superkick
FINISHER: Bankrupt Version 2.0 – (spinning Unprettier) / Rolling The Hard 7 (STO into a Koji Clutch Submission)
BIO: Born and raised in to a wealthy family in Las Vegas, Chris Casino never wanted for anything. His father started at the bottom of the Vegas food chain and quickly worked himself up to be a board member of a major Casino Resort. Casino’s mother was a former Vegas showgirl who later went on to be a professional choreographer. At seventeen, Casino’s world changed forever when his father was arrested and later sent to Club Fed on numerous Racketeering charges. Rumor has it, that before his arrest Casino’s father signed over everything to his son thus making sure the Government couldn’t seize it.
At eighteen the wrestling bug bit Casino and he began training under several top stars such as Longshot and Devastation. By Nineteen he had his first pro match in front of 150 fans and loved every minute of it. Since then Casino has toured the world in search of top flight competition for himself. Now makes his home in the NAPW promotion in Canada.
APPEARANCE: Outside the ring, Casino always dresses to impress with his tailor made three piece suits. He has appeared on the covers of several men’s fashion magazines.
In the ring, he wears half-tights (a la AJ Styles) in blue and white, with the letter “C” on each side. He wears black elbow pads and has his left hand heavily taped up to his forearm.
Casino has blue eyes and short blonde hair. He also has a tattoo of a Cross on his right inner forearm.
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: NAPW World Champion (2x), Provincial Champion, Tag Team Champion (4x), Pure Honor Champion, 2009 Sole Survivor winner
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6’2″, 238 lbs
HOMETOWN: Windsor, Ontario
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Death of it All” – Rob Zombie
STYLE: Brawler with some technique
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: Canadian Backbreaker, Fisherman’s Buster, HOT SALVATION (superkick, usually after whipping opponent into ropes), EXPLODER WHALE (Double stomp onto the chest/stomach from the top rope), THE FLOOD (A combination of jumping knees to the head and left and right hooks to the body. Usually done to set up the Dry Lake)
FINISHER: The Dry Lake (Double Underhook spike pedigree) / Branch Breaker 2 (Bridging grounded double chickenwing AKA Bryan Danielson’s Cattle Mutilation)
BIO: For History on Billy Kryenik please consult the RESULTS and RECORDS sections of the NAPW website.
APPEARANCE: Shedding his spikey blond locks for a clean shaven stubble look equipped with short beard. Billy is still as scarred and as tattoo’d as ever. He is slightly bigger in the shoulders/chest area and not quite as lean as he was a few years ago but still in remarkable shape.
He has traded in his wrestling tights for a simple and casual pair of faded blue jeans with a mysteriously sharp looking belt buckle and black belt. His wrestling boots have been discontinued for a hardworking pair of black work boots. His fists are taped up with Doom on one hand and Rider on the other in memory of the once popular tag team.
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: NAPW World Champion, 2006 Canada Cup winner, Tag Team Champion (3x)
AKA: “The Sexellence of Sexecution,” “Sexy Rexy,” “The 240lb Shithammer”
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6’3″, 245 lbs

ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Even More Human Than Human” – The X-Ecutioners
STYLE: Power/Technical/Submission
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: Release German Suplex, Running STO, High Cradle Suplex, Rings of Rex, Nexus Cloverleaf
FINISHER: Total Annihilation (Samoa Joe’s Muscle Buster)
BIO: Rex Caliber was born into a rich family. His dream was always to be a pro wrestler. His family set him up with a house and a vehicle and at age 18 he was set free. He would no longer be dependent on his family’s wealth again. In January 2004, Rex flew to Tokyo, Japan to be trained in a Japanese Dojo by the legendary Mr. Rodo Mitsawa. After a year of training and 5 months of wrestling as a jobber/opener Rex came back to the US to try and become a superstar. He wrestled for a large federation, GWA. After being a top attraction, he suffered several losses in title matches. After being pushed down the card, in favor of some returning GWA legends, Rex left the fed. It turned out to be a smart decision because in October of 2005, GWA folded. Rex went on a brief sabbatical from wrestling and decided to return in November 2005. Opting not to be held down under a contract to one fed, Rex Caliber travels the territories on the Indy Circuit, making a name for himself.
On rare occasions (when his usual arsenal isn’t quite enough to put an opponent away), Rex utilizes the Planetary Collision maneuver (Styles Clash).
APPEARANCE: Bald, muscled, covered in tattoos. Big beard. Black boots and black leather pants with ‘Nexus One’ on one side in red, one elbow pad on the right arm and red tape on the wrists.
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: NAPW Champion (2x), Tag Team Champion, winner of the 1st ever Canada Cup Invitational, making suckers tap out, REBEL Pro World Heavyweight Champion, Owner of NAPW, Man In Charge of REBEL Pro
NOTES: At first hated, then slowly accepted by the NAPW fans as one of their most popular wrestlers, Rex Caliber used to love working for as many feds as possible until he, too, fell in love with NAPW. His departure was part political–his career jeapordized by the controversial R. Joseph Winchell III–and part personal–as he chose to spend more time with his new-found son.
Of course, then Rex returned as owner, lost his mind and became worse than the man who cost him his job, until finally Caliber was evicted from NAPW in August 2007. Yeesh.

HOMETOWN: Edmonton, Alberta
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Note To Self: Don’t Die” – Ryan Adams
STYLE: Unorthodox Old School
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: Roundhouse Punch, Basement Dropkick, Dragon Screw Legwhip, Tree of Woe, Spinebuster
FINISHER: NyQuil Spike (A sleeper hold that releases into a backbreaker), Pleasant Cycling (modified single-leg crab)
BIO: A man who idolized wrestlers for years . . . and then said to himself, “Me too.” Not precisely a mat technician and more than a punch/kick brawler, D! trained in the old-school style first and then cycled in newer techniques when he deemed them effective.
After winning the NAPW Title in his second professional match ever, D! became the face of New Alberta Pro Wrestling. People bought tickets to see One Letter (Said Real Loud) kick ass and take names. His feuds with Ravager, The Plague, Chris Casino & Devastation are legendary.
On NAPW’s One Year Anniversary show, D! seemed to come mentally unhinged, destroying Ravager and D-X inside a steel cage. He was run out of NAPW by upstart Simply Beautiful and promptly fired by Commissioner Joseph Winchell. D!’s then-final act on NAPW television was one of unspeakable violence towards a cameraman…
Eighteen months have come and gone, and D! made a surprising return at Sole Survivor, seeming very much the same as when he’d left. Will D!’s return to NAPW mean the start of something exciting… or something very, very wrong?
APPEARANCE: Short black hair, black t-shirt, black jeans and his trademark flame-detailed Harley boots. His left arm sports the body of a black scorpion tattoo on the shoulder, its tail running down to the stinger on his wrist. Where once there was a scar on his forehead, no trace can be seen.
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: NAPW Champion (3x). He was also the first winner of TEAM’s Champion of Champions title, which he never lost.
AKA: “The One-Man Crimes Spree,” “The Hardcore Luchadore”
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5’6″, 175 lbs
HOMETOWN: Windsor, Ontario
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Crimes” – Blood Brothers
STYLE: Lucha Libre/Hardcore
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: FUNCRUSHER (Michinoku Driver), Missile Dropkick, Enziguri, Tornado DDT, Asai Moonsault (Lionsault)
FINISHER: Moment Of Clarity (Shooting Star Press)
BIO: Little is known about this charasmatic enigma, besides that he was trained in Mexico by the late great Art Barr. He appears to be somewhat of a drifter, being chewed up in various areas and wrestling promotions all over North America before they spit him out. Likes to incorporate weapons into matches, especially the steel chair.
APPEARANCE: The most striking feature about Static is the three-quarter mask he wears. It’s solid black, with gray-and-blue decor on it in abstract shapes of lightning bolts, and his dark brown hair pokes out the bottom. The mask stops below his eyes, allowing his greasy hair to spill out the top and showcase a scarred forehead. On his way to the ring, he wears a hood of the same design.
He’s quite small, but built fairly well for his size. He has a few noticable scars and tattoos on his chest and arms, reminders of where he’s been and where he’s going. He’s got a decent tan. He wears blue tape on his wrists, but otherwise wears nothing on his upper body. He wears wrestling pants/tights and boots, in the same color and design as his mask.
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Tag Team Championship, NAPW Championship, Provincial Championship, Operation: Kill Mother(BLEEP)ers Dead. Also, using a screwdriver. On foreheads. VIOLENT.
NOTES: One of the original NAPW wrestlers, Static’s career trajectory led him to become one of the few Triple Crown champion winners. His partnership with Rex Caliber as The Crimes (crimes crimes crimes crimes) brought about an unlikely face turn. Until Static’s jealousy of partner Rex Caliber’s success led to him gouging a screwdriver in his partner’s face. Static was outed from NAPW after losing a thrilling Career ladder match against rising star Patrick Bickle. He returned as part of The New Crimes to help Rex Caliber rule over NAPW with an iron fist. Following Complete Control II, Static was once again out of NAPW.
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6’3″, 257 lbs

ENTRANCE MUSIC: “I Am The Man” – Philosopher Kings
STYLE: Mainly technical, with some quick impact moves
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: The Moose Jaw Driver (Death Valley Driver), Polar-izer (Throwback), Lionsault, Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker
FINISHER: Bear-Tamer (Liontamer/Walls of Jericho) / Emerald Fusion
BIO: Raised in the most urban part of Saskatchewan, Kyle Roberts grew up under the tutelage of his high school gym coach, Gordon Jago. Roberts knew from an early age that wrestling federations all over the world would desire his talents as a wrestler and showman, and was determined to make sure that everyone was aware of this fact. He started off his wrestling career in Medicine Hat’s Gastown Wrestling Alliance, where he would eventually team up with the Beast to with the GWA Tag Team Titles.
As Bruce Richards is fond of saying, The New and Improved DX is a “mutually beneficial partnership,” and they’re ready to take on all comers in the NAPW.
Well, they were. Until Kyle bashed a ring bell into The Beast’s face.
APPEARANCE: Outside the Squared Circle, Kyle Roberts is always very well-dressed, wearing a green silk shirt underneath a pin-striped suit. In the ring, he wears green tights with “Stylin’” in gold lettering written down the side. He’s always got a very subtle five o’clock shadow, and has brown hair and blue eyes.
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: NAPW Tag Team Championship (5), 2006 ENN Tag Team of the Year, REBEL Pro World Heavyweight Champion (2)
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6’5″, 261 lbs
HOMETOWN: New York City
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Down With The Sickness” – Disturbed
STYLE: Power/Technical/Traditionalist
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: Repeated knee strikes to opponent’s head (double under-hooking opponent’s arms), Superplex, Spinebuster, Brainbuster, Abdominal Stretch
FINISHER: The Black Death II (Angel’s Wings – spinning sit-out Pedigree)
BIO: The Plague’s history is largely in shadow. He has wrestled for the better part of the past 12 years around the world with varying degrees of success. Why he has come to Edmonton & NAPW, and what his goals are, remains a mystery.
The first NAPW Champion, The Plague retired from professional wrestling after losing a Title vs Career match against D!. Despite the intensity of their feud, in the end D! won Plague’s respect and the two men shook hands after the third and deciding match in their series. He’s known for both his intense respect and passion for the business, trademark smirk, and closing lines of “There’s no cure for The Plague” or the longer variant, “There’s no antidote, vaccination or quarantine that can stop The Plague!”
After spending nearly a year on the sidelines letting his body heal, The Plague returned at NAPW Anniversary Assault with revenge on his mind…
APPEARANCE: The Plague is very strong, so he’s a built guy. Kinda pale, scars on his forehead, always angry looking. Shaved head, fearsome looking chin beard and mustache. A traditionalist, Plague wears long black tights with “PLAGUE” written on the back in red and white. “BLACK” runs up one leg, “DEATH” down the other. Standard black boots, knee pads under the tights, elbow pads, wrist tape.
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: The first NAPW Champion, feud with D! made D!’s career
NOTES: The grizzled veteran was the 1st NAPW Champion, and his feud with D! over that title helped NAPW establish itself in 2005. Plague would later return in an attempt to destroy Ravager. Though he seemed to have Ravager’s number, he would be defeated in a First Blood match and disappear from NAPW shortly afterwards, while Ravager embarked on his Epic Title Reign.
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6’9″, 289 lbs
HOMETOWN: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Motherfucker of the Year” – Mötley Crüe
STYLE: Brawler
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: Scott Hall-style fallaway slam into the buckles, one-handed chokeslam, repeated punches to the face, short-arm clothesline, powerslam, Guillotine (front guillotine choke)
FINISHER: Tombstone piledriver (It’s a Tombstone piledriver. Flip them upside down, drive ‘em headfirst.)
BIO: “The Murder City Devil” is back.
Jake Phoenix has returned to NAPW with a vengeance, with a shocking entry into the 2010 Sole Survivor. Phoenix started right where he left off – destroying anybody and everybody in his path. It’s been no different throughout his career in NAPW, as the trail of broken bodies left in his wake is testament to “The Murder City Devil’s” blend of power and sheer brute force. Necks have been broken and careers ended by Phoenix’s devastating Tombstone piledriver.
Phoenix has tasted championship gold as well, with two reigns as NAPW tag team champion, along with a record-setting 301 days and 12 successful defenses as Canadian Heritage champion – the longest reign and most title defenses in NAPW history – before topping things off with a reign as NAPW World heavyweight champion.
Although Phoenix has been both loved and hated by the NAPW faithful, he has never changed his ways or his style of doing things – it has always been straight ahead, full bore through any and all obstacles in his path, whether they be referees, innocent bystanders, wrestlers, officials – it doesn’t matter. Jake Phoenix has returned, and nobody is safe.
APPEARANCE: Phoenix is a large, burly man, in the style of a Scott Hall or Sid Vicious – muscular, but rounded and hardened, with the kind of muscles you get from years of hard labor and the power you get from years of hitting people really hard. He wears dark black pants and a black tanktop, sometimes with a black sleeveless shirt over it, and black fingerless gloves. Phoenix wears his trademark Oakley shades to the ring, but discards them before he enters.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Tag Team Champion (2x), Canadian Heritage Champion, World Champion, Ring of Prestige
REBEL Pro: World Heavyweight Champion
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5’11″ 175 lbs
HOMETOWN: New York, New York
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Ibi Dreams Of Pavement” – Broken Social Scene
STYLE: Suicidal/submission
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: Cross arm-breaker, Inverted STF (Mutalock), Single-Arm DDT, (fear the) Spear, swinging neckbreaker (in the ring or on the floor, Cactus Jack style)
FINISHER: Roll Credits (CM Punk’s Anaconda Vice) / FreeFall (desperation finisher – flies from the top rope leading with his shoulder. An all or nothing attempt.)
BIO: Patrick Bickle was raised in a nuclear family and was brought up with all of the values that come therein. He was never beaten to become a monster, he was never the champion athlete that is now extending his competitive edge, and he is not a colourful friend of the fans.
There is no mystery to where Patrick has been, as everything can be found in his records, but somewhere along the lines he seemed to develop an indifference to those around him and his own personal health. His wrestling style is largely improvisation driven, often with the instinct to throw everything, including himself, forwards to win.
APPEARANCE: Patrick wears generic black wrestling shorts, with generic wrestling boots to go along with it. He has hair that just about reaches his shoulders and a moderately kept beard, but it appears he doesn’t concentrate too much on self-image.
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: NAPW Championship (2), Pure Honor Championship
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6’0″, 222 1/4 lbs
HOMETOWN: Cairo, Illinois
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Hold On! I’m Coming!” – Sam & Dave
STYLE: Technical/Stiff
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: The Perfect Uppercut (Killer TOASTYYYYY Uppercut), Diamond Dust, Japanese Armdrag, Roaring Elbow, Sambo Suplex, Fujiwara Armbar, Camel Clutch (Break your back, make you humble!)
FINISHER: The Cartwheel (Wheelbarrow Suplex into a Boston Crab) / Mississippi Plunge (somersault legdrop from top rope AKA Harlem/Houston Hangover)
BIO: Born in the dying town of Cairo, Illinois, Evan Cartwright grew up with a knowing sense of his own mortality and limitations as the shadow of his hometown cast upon him a sense of hopelessness and defeat. Upon graduating from high school, the local principal encouraged the entire graduating class to move out of Cairo, as there was nothing left for them there–a dead end rut of obscurity. Evan took this as his cue to move northwest to the mean streets of East St. Louis and there began his training as a wrestler at the School of Hard Knocks. After nearly two years of training and discipline, Evan was taken under the wing of Mexican Lucha Libre star Mascara de la Plata (Silver Mask) and competed throughout Mexico, Puerto Rico, Japan and Europe. With this valuable international experience, he returned to the states after two years and tore through the competition in every fed he was booked in–showcasing his high-flying prowess just enough to avoid being labeled “flashy,” and utilizing his technical skill to ground and pound his opponents into submission.
Evan joins NAPW after a short hiatus from the ring and seeks to overcome the stigma of his hometown and past by becoming a cornerstone of wrestling in this region of the world. Evan normally relies on his in-ring skills and phenomenal ring psychology to achieve victory, but he will cheat and deceive when he sees an opportunity for the ends justifying the means. Evan is a man capable of good and noble deeds who simply chooses to embrace his sinister side and cares little if he causes pain and misery in others–very much like a ronin samurai.
APPEARANCE: Well built black man with close cropped hair. Short-style trunks a la Shelton Benjamin, kickpad boots, elbow pads and wrist tape.
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: NAPW Champion, Provincial Champion (3x), Tag Team Champion (4x)
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6’7″, 335 lbs
HOMETOWN: Houston, TX
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Zero” – Smashing Pumpkins
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: Release Belly-to-Belly suplex, Dragon Suplex, Release German Suplex, Superkick, Spinebuster
FINISHER: Humility Bomb (a layout “Last Ride styled powerbomb, however with the impact angled more to the neck, puroresu style) / Headliner (Burning Hammer)
BIO: Ryan is all about himself. His friends are few and far between and he likes it that way. However, the friends he does have he is fiercely loyal to and protective of. Still, nothing is allowed to come between him and his goals. Always leaning toward the heel side, Ryan has been alternately face and heel throughout his career. It just depends on what his immediate goal is at the time. Ryan accepts the occasional loss in that he looks at situations long-term, but his confidence is overwhelming. Will take a loss knowing a win will come the next time. Classic counterpuncher. Puroresu trained and very technically sound, to go along with well above average power. Think a cross between Scott Steiner in his prime Steiner Brother days crossed with Gary Albright. Something like that.
APPEARANCE: A well built caucasian man, built along the lines of Brock Lesnar with the added height. Blonde hair combed back. Usually wearing dark sunglasses. Comes to the ring with a black elbow pad on each elbow, black trunks and black kneepads. Black (see a trend?) boots with “DR” on the side. Out of the ring generally wears either warmup pants or jeans and a t-shirt.
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: NAPW World Champion (2x), Tag Team Champion (2x), 2008 Canada Cup winner, Tagstravaganza IV winner
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5’8″, 200 lbs
HOMETOWN: A sushi restaurant in Chinatown, Vancouver BC
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Sub-Zero (Chinese Ninja Warrior)” – The Immortals
STYLE: Lucha libre welterweight
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: Shuriken Press (Shooting Star Senton), Kabuki Kick (Moonsault kick), Mystic Cyclone (Deja vu satellite headscissors takedown), Shadow Missile (ropewalk missile dropkick to opponent in corner), Ninjattack (suicide dive headscissors takedown)
FINISHER: Super Shinobi (Super Shinarui)
BIO: Part of a large extended family with roots in the old country, the man who would become the Mystic Ninja was raised on North American pop culture, poor quality VHS rips of bad-audio Hong Kong action films, badly translated Malaysian soap operas, incomplete Bollywood musicals, Italian-dubbed anime and thousands of snippets of Japanese puroresu matches. After leaving a promising university career at 19 to train at Lumberjesus’ independent Achtung Academy, the Mystic Ninja traveled the world–Japan, Mexico, United States, Australia and even Ukraine–trying to make a living wrestling in numerous independent promotions, never stopping in any one place for more than a year. Never, that is, until his big break at Moose Jaw Pro, where he played both with and against fellow Achtung Academy graduate, Expositioner. They soon teamed up and the rest, as they say, is history.
APPEARANCE: Blue sleeveless tunic (pattern resembling light flak vest or armour plates), silver belt, blue tights with thin silver lightning down the sides, black boots with blue trim, blue mask covering the lower half of his face, blue bracers with silver trim. Brown eyes and frosted blue hair.
TAG TEAM NAME: Mystic Exposition
PARTNER: The Expositioner
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Tag Team Championship (4)
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6’1″, 240 lbs
HOMETOWN: Lloydminster, AB
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Stop The Rock” – Apollo 440

FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: X-Pound (springboard Lou Thesz press, plus much beating), X-Planation (spinning crucifix toss), X-Plex (Aztec suplex), X-Traction (inverted Octopus hold from opponent on mat), X-Press (cross body)
FINISHER: X Spots the Mark (inverted crucifix Michinoku Driver)
BIO: Trademark: when possible, shouts out names of spot moves!
A graduate of the famed Achtung Academy, Expositioner wrestled in several Canadian independent pro wrestling promotions, including Moose Jaw Pro Wrestling, Kananaskis Wrestling Circuit (K-Dub), Canadian Territories Wrestling, and a short stint as commissioner of Maritime Extreme Pro Wrestling (MEXpro). It was at Moose Jaw Pro where he was reunited with his friend from Achtung Academy, the Mystic Ninja, and whether in singles or paired matches, whether competing with or against Ninja, they found they worked very well together. They soon found great success as Mystic Exposition and hope to continue that success in NAPW. When not actively wrestling, Expositioner is one of the founders of the Canadian Independent Professional Wrestlers’ Combine, a new non-profit collective that provides support and contacts for independent wrestlers working in Canada. He is currently dating independent wrestler Canadian Elmo.
APPEARANCE: Burgundy mask covering top half of his face, black sleeveless shirt with large burgundy exclamation mark on front and KAYFABE! on back, dark pants with red stripe down side, black boots. Blue eyes, blond hair.
TAG TEAM NAME: Mystic Exposition
PARTNER: Mystic Ninja
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Tag Team Championship (4)

TAG FINISHER: X-Terminator (Double missile dropkick from adjacent turbuckles, with both wrestlers shouting “Exterminate!”)
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Tag Team Championship (4)
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5’9″, 180 lbs

ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Science” – System of a Down
STYLE: Unusual
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: Choke Toss, Throat Chop, Tongan Death Grip, Flap Jack, Gorilla Press
FINISHER: Smothered in Ketchup (Cobra Clutch Sleeper) / FrankenSTEINer (RARE counter-move. Functions almost the opposite of regular frankensteiner, Stein’s vise grip ankles around opponent’s head, pulling him down until a sudden snap takes the opponent over. Awkward, but effective!)
BIO: A man with a complicated past, Stein was once controlled by a man called Dr. Morgoth, before being broken away by the storied Delivery Men, eventually becoming one of their number (#100, to be precise). He disappeared from the face of the earth in mid 2006, only to reappear at NAPW’s Anniversary Assault II. Recently, he has become associated with NAPW’s other resident misfits: the WGA.
APPEARANCE: Stein is a slim man of average height dressed in the tattered remnants of a Delivery Man uniform. His hair is coal black and stands out at crazed angles. What attracts the most attention when looking at Stein are this his eyes, which seem to flow from color to color, and possess no whites at all. The skin visible through his ruined clothes is dead white for the most part, but criss-crossed with vivid red scars that always look fresh.
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Tag Team Championship, Provincial Championship
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6’1″, 227 lbs
HOMETOWN: The Kingdom of Zamunda
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “STILL CAN’T WHOOP ME (Prince W. Darko’s theme 2008)” – AkForty
STYLE: Unorthodox/Technical/Power
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: Running DDT, Zumunda Yoke (Camel Clutch Sleeper), Laid Out Number 2 (The Complete Shot/inverted STO), Just Perfection (springboard swanton bomb), Laid Out (Claw-Hold STO)
FINISHER: Over and Out (running, rolling leapfrog cutter) / Zamunda Driver (Tiger Driver)
BIO: Was born into royalty in Zamunda. His family bought satellite television where he first viewed wrestling events. Also, his love and passion for wrestling was sparked through watching his wrestling events. At the age of 15, he moved to Canada, where he joined with a backyard fed and began to learn how to wrestle. In that backyard fed he met his bodyguard/tag team partner Thomas Young. Together they formed a team, The Royal Foundation, after doing so, they joined NAPW where their professional wrestling career started.
Once returning back to from the break in 06-07. Darko’s winning streak wasn’t as great as it could be. With grand total of one victory from January to March. Darko started to get a bit fed up with losing he knew he needed help. He invoked the old him to return. By doing so, he gained courage to join his partner, Thomas Young and sell out his younger brother, Jeff James. Thomas and Darko then quit New Alberta Pro Wrestling and went to REBEL Pro Wrestling with they also brought Mr. B along for the ride.
After the summer of 2007, Darko’s contract with REBEL was coming to an end, Thomas Young was suspended and Mr. B was off into to rehab where he could regain his ability to walk. NAPW management got on the ball, they talked business with Darko and they came to an agreement. Darko is now back where all of this started, NAPW, but this time he’s alone…. BEWARE!
APPEARANCE: Prince Darko has Dark Black skin, A large black afro, a white leather mask across the lower portion of his face. A suede white one piece singlet, much like RVD’s. He then follows it up with black elbow pads and black kneepads with black shin guards, which are all suede, he finishes it with the white boots. Outside the ring he wears fine tailored suits and a mask that matches his suit.
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Heritage Champion, Television Champion
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6’3″, 178 lbs
HOMETOWN: Staten Island, New York
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Connection” – Elastica
STYLE: Unspecified
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: Pimp/Backhand Slap, Diving headbutt (standing or from top), Discus Clotheline, Stone’s Throw (Fisherman’s Brainbuster), Balls of Steel (low blows injure opponent, not Stone!)
FINISHER: Slammy Time (Double Arm DDT) / Zellorification (double underhook the arms, body-scissors, submission move)
BIO: Stone Zellor was born on Staten Island as the son of his father and third wife, Elizabeth. When he was growing up his father was a manager for an East Coast promotion, which got both Clint and his half-brother interested in wrestling. Needless to say it wasn’t long before the boys began training and have worked their way up to the NAPW.
During what can only be considered as a very successful year, Stone has managed to capture both the NAPW Tag Team Championship and the NAPW Canadian Heritage Championship. The latter of which he has won twice. But something’s gone wrong. The man who was once a crowd favorite has become obsessed with keeping hold of his title belt
APPEARANCE: Stone is a scrawny white kid with short, textured brown hair and a clean shaven face. Outside of the ring, it is common to see Stone is jeans and a t-shirt. When wrestling, Stone wears black leather pants with a picture of a stick of dynamite on his right leg and the word ‘Dy-no-mite’ written down his left. He also wears black wrist tape from his knuckles to his elbow. His boots are red with black soles.
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Tag Team Champion, Heritage Champion (2x)
REBEL Pro: Tag Team Champion (3x)
AKA: “The Boulder from Boulder,” “The Suplex Automaton”
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5’9″, 266 lbs.
HOMETOWN: Boulder, Colorado
ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Love And War” – Drowning Pool
STYLE: brawler, mat wrestler and LOTS of suplexes, similar to Tazz
FIVE FAVORITE MOVES: Taboo Press (Thesz press but instead of Austin-like punches he lands several headbutts); Bearhug Exploder; Dead-Weight German Suplex; Boulder Bomb (Vader Bomb); Taboo Squeeze (Single-leg Boston Crab with Ankle Lock)
FINISHER: The Big Bang Theory (Inverted Suplex into a Cutter, known because of the height he jumps before landing it which shakes the ring)
BIO: After being a nationally-ranked amateur wrestler in college, Taboo reached his peak in the mid-90s when he was used by various large promotions as a masked heel. His height, however, kept him from staying in the business past 1999 when he was forced to work small independent feds where he was often used as comic relief with clowns and midgets. He eventually found his way to Japan where he worked on his skills and earned a respectable following as an American big man in the tradition of Scott Norton and Steve Williams. With more moves with which to market himself, he has re-entered the North American independent scene, hoping to start a second career in the West. Though he’s now in his early forties, he believes he can still hang with the best. He tried out with NAPW wanting a place to reach a wider, independent audience, hoping for a second chance from the wrestling world. He has recently decided to wear his mask once again, this time living the life he wishes he had lived earlier, doing as he wants, when he wants, especially in the ring.
APPEARANCE: He definitely looks his age, with a slightly graying, dirty blonde buzz cut. He has a gut, but it is the chiseled kind, as if he just has a stomach that no amount of exercise or training could remove. He is very broad-shouldered with large arms. He wears a dark black mask to the ring (only for matches) that covers his mouth and the back of his head. He wears a white singlet that has black seams and says TABOO in spattered black on his chest. He wears black knee pads, black elbow pads, black fingerless gloves and black boots.
TAG TEAM: Style Clash
PARTNER: “The Show” Chad Kurtis
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Tag Team Champion, World Champion, Heritage Champion
OTHER NOTABLE WRESTLERS
THE DUDES (Cameron Scott & Michael K. Johnston)
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: NAPW Tag Team Champions, one-third of the five-star Tag Team ladder match at Joker’s Wild, totally fan favorites. Dude.
NOTES: When they weren’t playing video games or slacking, The Dudes were having fun at the expense of their rivals The New & Improved D-X. They were exasperating to manager Tiffany Macintyre, irritating to their opponents, and almost shockingly NAPW Tag Team Champions.
The Delivery Men
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Tag Team Championship, making the world safe for deliveries, freeing Stein from the control of Dr. Morgoth, Tex.
NOTES: No delivery too small, no delivery too large! Delivery Man #1 and #2 will see it through!
North T. Gunderson
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Holds the NAPW record of six+ unsuccessful shots at NAPW gold! Also, midgets. Successfully wore no pants for Christmas 2006 AND Christmas 2007.
NOTES: The “T” stands for “Thunder.” North started in NAPW teamed with Tempest in the team Storm, becoming the fan-favorite North Gunderson later in his career. He randomly appears at NAPW events wearing no pants to this day.
The Yellow Chicken
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 8 match undefeated streak, Television Championship, Provincial Championship, star-making feud with Jeff James
NOTES: Carter Owens couldn’t buy a win in NAPW. After weeks of being called “chicken” by “The Moose” Mark Millar, Carter emerged from hiding to shut The Moose up, only to lose and be humilated with a crate of chickens. Something inside Owens snapped and he re-emerged as THE YELLOW CHICKEN – and embarked on a record-breaking undefeated streak scooping up both the TV and Provincial titles! Ba-KAW!
“Outlaw” Patrick Kidd
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Provincial Championship, won feuds against “The Moose” Mark Millar and Tommy Deathrow (the latter of which was particularly violent.)
NOTES: “Outlaw” Patrick Kidd’s first-ever singles title win in professional wrestling came right here in NAPW when he dethroned The Yellow Chicken as Provincial Champion. NAPW is very proud to have been the promotion where this occured for such a veteran of the ring wars.
Jeff James
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Record-setting TV title run, Provincial Championship
NOTES: Jeff James, younger brother and flunky of The Foundation’s Thomas Young, changed when he wrestled The Yellow Chicken. That defeat sent him on a path of intense training and developed his sense of honor. James finally won the TV title from Chicken, clean, and proceeded to defend it more successfully than ANY title in NAPW. A series of injures derailed his momentum later in 2007, but for a while Jeff James was the hottest thing going in NAPW.
David Banks
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Tag Team Championship, HATER.
NOTES: FULL OF HATE. CHARISMATIC COLOSSUS. BEYOND BELIEF. Basically, he’s your frinkin’ hero!
The Decapitators
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Contended for the tag titles regularly, huge fan-favorite, beat Storm’s asses all over Edmonton! =D
NOTES: The Decapitators were one of NAPW’s most popular and enduring teams, until a family tragedy shook things up forever. Axe, the older brother, jealous of his little brother Diamond’s success and easier life, decided to dish out some “tough love.” After weeks of insults and assaults, Axe & Diamond met at SOLE SURVIVOR. Axe cheated to win the match and then left Diamond a bloody mess. The story did not end there, however: In the Sole Survivor match itself, Diamond came in and eliminated Axe, then put him through the timekeepers table with DiamondSault! Axe returned to NAPW one last time, challenging Patrick Bickle for the Pure Honor title. He came up short, but the reunited Decapitators were given a rousing ovation from an appreciative crowd.
Lobo
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Television Champion, winner of the Action! Battle Royale at Complete Control, has a rare singles victory over Chris Casino.
NOTES: Lobo was an NAPW mainstay from day one, engaging in a classic three-way feud with Ravager & Static over the Provincial Title for months. Afterwards, Lobo reconnected with his father Terry Brandon. Brandon’s split loyalties between Lobo and Chris Casino eventually led to Lobo & Casino competing for Brandon’s contract… a match which Lobo won. Lobo tasted NAPW gold around the same time, winning the Television Championship from reigning champ Don Travelli.
Don Travelli
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: The ONLY Three-time Television Champion! Also, paid D-X to kick Predator’s ass. Good times for all.
NOTES: Don Travelli was a focal point of the Television Title Division in the first half of 2006. He dominated the title, losing it briefly to Predator. The Don held the TV Title three times through long-standing feuds against Predator and The Crusher. One of his most notable moments was in the Sole Survivor match: Instead of entering, he gave his spot to D-X (along with some cash), allowing D-X to enter and eliminate The Predator. Good times were had by all, except The Predator. Ding!
J.C. Cook
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Provincial Title Shot… Only Normal Wrestler In NAPW award.
NOTES: J.C. Cook quickly won over the NAPW fans with his good-natured personality and in-ring performance. During a match with the insane Misery, Cook was beaten so badly he spent nearly two months recovering. He returned with a big win over Axle Jaxx, had an opportunity at the Provincial Title, and ultimately left NAPW to wrestle for another promotion. NAPW wishes J.C. Cook the best of luck in his future.
Crusher
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Became the first NAPW TV Champion by handing a rare defeat to “The Nexus One” Rex Caliber
NOTES: This young All-American tore a path through NAPW. He held TV Title gold and gave his all in every match, while warning all competitors: “Kill… or be crushed!”
Dextro
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Pure Honor champion
NOTES: The lovable Meth Orphan shocked the world when he defeated Patrick Bickle for the Pure Honor championship, proving he was more than Deathrow and KKP’s pet or lackey. For the fall of 2006 Dextro hung with the best of the best in NAPW. Then he ended up living in a cage behind KKP’s house.
KBOND
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Prince W. Darko’s bodyguard. Awesome.
NOTES: WORD IS KBOND
Harmony Monroe
TITLES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Involved in the first ever mixed tag match in NAPW history alongside Stone Zellor, taking on Dez Carter & Asuka Katsuragi
NOTES: Formerly known as “Lady Sparks,” Monroe helped Stone Zellor become a two-time heritage champion before striking out on her own. She wrestled Tiffany Macintyre in a match that crowned the 1st NAPW Women’s Champion.
